Origin: Vohak'ahnI was just a child then, but I remember the day our lady abandoned us. When the day orb rose over the horizon she would leap forward to protect us from its deadly light. She always protected us, until the day when the world ended. We built temples to her. We revolved our lives around her. But on that day, she was forever gone. The world shook and turned towards the light and held us there, burning us to ashes if we did not scramble to shelter in time.

"Private Snow!"
Snow came to a halt in front of his superior officer. He had been running for almost an hour and his breath was visible in the winter chill. He noted with pride that the sergeant was breathing heavier after having only walked out to interrupt him.
"Yes, drill sergeant!"
The sergeant brandishes a clipboard stuffed with orders.
"Did you forget that your unit is supposed to be in the city tonight, Private Snow?"

My yearly review here at work seemed to go well. They told me the tale of why I have no work to do again and I told them my plan to fix it. They are going to get me set up to meet with the VP and all of the department heads. So, I guess I said the right thing.

Hopefully this means that next year I will be in a good position to get a big raise or even better, a promotion.

Hopefully they will double my pay just for suggesting all the stuff I did, but I'm not planning on it.

Donatello has always been my favorite. I used to like Raphael and Michelangelo next but now that I think about it, Leonardo has surpassed them. I guess my tastes have changed.
